Spring Anime 2010 Line-up submitted by Syphin

Looking at the series, apart from Ironman!!! and a few shows I've heard about before, I don't really know anything else about these series. There are quite a number of Movies and OVA's I'm looking forward to though =). Surprised at the amount of OVA's coming out.

[My] favourite 10 Anime of 2009 and top 5 movies submitted by Syphin

2009 is coming to an end (minutes away...) which means us welcoming 2010. This is just a list and some impressions of my 10 favourite anime series from the year - there is a lot from the Autumn season, it could just be they are the freshest in my mind but it was a fantastic season. Also included my 5 favourite anime movies of the year. I did want to be more constructive but I'm watching One Piece...

Feel free to post your favourite series for the year O.o. While I'm at it, Merry-late Christmas and Happy New Year =/.

Halloween Special - Pokemon you didn't know existed submitted by Darkshaunz

Instead of dressing and begging crazy cat ladies for "treats", Arl and I decided to enlighten all of you to a few Pokemon you didn't even know existed. The Pokemon world has grown much since the original 151, most new additions are great - but with the good, comes the terribad. However, doing this entry with Arl has inspired me to dress up as a mexican pineapple duck for next year! AREEEEEEEEEEEEEEBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Keep in mind that these are all real, official Pokemon that you can obtain in the Pokeworld.

Just recommending these three great anime titles, they are all written and directed by the same person - Yasuhiro YOSHIURA. Aquatic Language (2002), Pale Cocoon (2006), and Eve no Jikan (July 2008 - September 2009) - his works really are outstanding, both story and animation.
